Conor McGregor Has Confirmed Signing Deal To Fight Floyd Mayweather

Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather  is one step closer to reality.

Today, the fight looks more likely than ever.  UFC President Dana White has now gone on-record saying the Irishman’s deal is indeed done.

“McGregor’s side is done, I’m starting to work on the Mayweather side now,” White told NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal during the TNT post-game show. “I got one side done, now it’s time to work on the other. If we can come to a deal with [Al] Haymon and Mayweather, the fight’s going to happen.”

Is this more smoke being blown up our collective a**? Well, Conor released the following statement confirming the above…

“It is an honour to sign this record breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradigm Sports Management,” McGregor said in his statement.

“The first, and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.”

Only time will tell if this super fight will actually happen. It’s your move Floyd.
