The high cost of education has been an issue that is widely talked about. Society has instilled in us that the only way to a great job is by getting a four year degree. Along with that degree comes the heavy burden of the student loan you took out. There’s no way around it, you leave school with this high price tag without the high paying job. One MIT student who dropped out of college has started the Make School which challenges traditional higher ed. His school doesn’t take tuition from his students up front; instead taking a percentage of their future salary. There needs to be a reform to the education system and this might be the answer for the future.
