Are you ready? The moment you’ve all been waiting for…. The Champ is back! 🥊 I’d like to announce that I will be making a comeback to the ring. I’m training to promote a charity that’s very close to me. Our #Unite4OurFight campaign aims to fill the void the pandemic has created on access to resources our youth needs for emotional development and education. Boxing legend Evander Holyfield is lacing up the gloves for a charity. Hopefully it will just be a light sparring session for the former Heavyweight champion.
He made the announcement that he’s making his return to boxing on Thursday (May 7) where he added that he’ll “be fighting in exhibition matches for a great cause.” Holyfield has teamed with Unite 4 Our Fight, which provides emotional development and educational resources for the youth.
Holyfield’s announcement comes after Mike Tyson hinted at a comeback to the ring. He recently shared a video from his training session in the gym and Tyson stated that he also wants to do some charity fights, leading some to speculate whether he’ll face off against Holyfield again. Check out Holyfield’s announcement above.
