China Sends Message To Hip-Hop Culture: GFY

China is done with Hip-Hop. I blame Teriyaki 69.

It’s a wrap for rap in China. The communist country has banned all hip-hop from the airwaves. A Chinese news portal called Sina reported that the following will be censored: “tattoo artists, hip-hop culture, subculture (non-mainstream culture) and funeral culture (decadent culture).” It’s so intense that Chinese rapper PG One had to apologize for a track he made in 2015 called “Christmas Eve,” for claims it encouraged drug use and was disrespectful to woman.
