When you have too much money and free time you can end up involved in a lot of bulls*it. Former UFC champion Conor McGregor found himself behind bars Monday for allegedly smashing a fan’s phone outside Miami’s Fontainebleau hotel.
Conor just recently completed court ordered community service for his 2018 bus rampage at the Barclays. 30-year-old McGregor was charged with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief for the early-morning incident. Cops allege he “slapped” a fan’s $1,000 phone out of his hand and then stomped on it.
They say the man was trying to take a photo of Conor when the mix martial arts star blew his fuse. Conor spent some time at the Miami-Dade County jail, where he posted bond. He was released just after 10 p.m. McGregor’s lawyer released the following statement:
“was involved in a minor altercation involving a cellphone that resulted in a call to law enforcement,” “Mr. McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation,”
