Daniel Rodriguez uses wingsuit flying to escape cancer

Daniel Rodriguez an MIT graduate was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. At the stage the cancer was caught complete recovery was no longer an option.  He had to make a decision to choose life altering surgery or the risk of death. Daniel didn’t want to deal with the side effects of conventional treatment and opted to not do the surgery. He then found solace in something he always wanted to which was wingsuit flying. Wingsuit flying took the thought and fear of having cancer away. When he was soaring through the air the only thing he could focus on was his decent. Watch the feature below shot by Grantland.
