Rick Ross has been extremely quiet in the whole Drake vs Meek Mill drama. The main reason is probably because he has been fighting his own serious beef. With charges for assault and kidnapping looming over his head, the last thing he wants to worry about is rap drama. Back in June, Ross was arrested for allegedly pistol-whipping a man who was doing work at one of his homes (which was previously owned by Evander Holyfield). The kidnapping charge is because the man was allegedly not allowed to leave the house. Ross has been out on a $2 million bond since the incident in July. He had to pull from all of his resources to bail out, which included:
– $1 million equity from the ex-Holyfield mansion he owns, and another GA property
– $500,000 surety bond (from a bail bondsman)
– $500k in cold hard cash
Since then the Hustlin rapper has been quieter than a mouse. However, a judge just gave him approval to start traveling on business trips. He may finally be able to get back to his normal grind and start recouping some of that money he had to use for bail. He is not completely off the hook. There are some restrictions that he must adhere to which include an ankle monitor, 5 days notice of any travel, and a 2-hour grace period to get to his house, once he returns to Atlanta. House arrest couldn’t have been all that bad, he still got to have one on one time with his very voluptuous girlfriend in the picture below.
