If you’re wondering what a forbidden snack is, it’s not what you may think. We aren’t referencing items that will increase your calorie count. Instead we are talking about inedible items that have the appearance they might be delicious to eat.

 

A weird subculture online is putting teens at risk. They are called forbidden snacks, because the human body can’t and shouldn’t digest them. One popular item that is being posted about regularly on social media are Tide detergent pods. Another one is violin rosin. It’s used to keep a violin bow in tip top shape, but many people think it could be super flavorful. It’s NOT.
