Loch Ness Looking Creature Washes Up Onto Shore in Georgia

Jeff Waren was strolling along the shores of Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge in Georgia when he spotted something that had washed up onto the shore. The remains were not able to be recovered and seemed to vanish quickly before marine biologists could study it. UC Santa Barbara professor Douglas McCauley watched the below video footage and guessed that the object was a deep sea creature perhaps one similar to a frilled shark.

Locals have a folklore about a Loch Ness type creature they call Altamaha-ha that bares a resemblance.

This is what a frilled shark looks like.
