When you create a wax figure of a female popstar you should expect that the public will take liberties when posing with it. Especially if that figure is on all fours. That is exactly what happened when fans hit up Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas. A Nicki Minaj wax figure was unveiled on Aug 4th and even though Minaj wasn’t present she shared her approval via instagram.
As you can see they used a scene from Nicki’s Anaconda video where the voluptuous rapper happens to be on all fours. Minaj didn’t seem to mind the pose as you can tell from her instagram comment :
they had the dancers ready and everything. so iconic. Thank u
Judging by the liberal use of emojis, I would say she was pleased. What happened next should probably have been expected. People decided to pose as vulgar as possible with the wax figurine. The statue is on all fours, what did they think would happen? Check out what transpired:
In the last picture the guy is clearly trying to take the Minaj clone home. He should be ashamed of himself for looking so foolish with a wax figure. Putting my embarrassment for that last guys pose to the side (bruh c’mon), they should have expected these vulgar poses. All the hoopla over the indecent pictures has forced Madame Tussauds to issue the following statement:
I honestly don’t know how they couldn’t see this coming? As for Nicki Minaj’s thoughts on the situation. She could care less because it keeps her name in the media and she actually posted that last guys picture on her gram. Let’s see if the wax figure makes it a full year. I’m taking bets.
