“There’s a reason everyone else’s nachos don’t involve a slurry of cheese/tomatoes/lettuce/beans/salsa/etc. There’s a reason why those things are layered and not mixed. The reason is that the eating experience is more enjoyable when there are a variety of flavors. When the nacho components are layered, you get different things in every bite. And because the components aren’t mixed, you get distinct flavors.”
